  • What Gems are on the dresses?
    The gems used are according to design, however we take a client’s tastes into account and can change the gems. The gems can include, but are not limited to: Diamonds, Tourmaline, Sapphires, Emeralds, Rubies, Amethyst, Agate, and Lapis Lazuli.
  • How many fittings can I get?
    Generally, we expect two fitting to be needed.
  • How long before my wedding should I order my dress?
    We recommend six months. A rush order is possible and our representatives will tell you upfront if a rush order at the time is possible. Please note: Rush orders will incur additional costs.
  • Can I get alterations?
    All our dresses are made to your measurements taken/given to us; We pay careful attention to your detailed size sheet as per each unique design and cut the pattern accordingly. This ensures the perfect result and means extensive fittings and alterations are rarely required. However, if after the dress is finished, there are any necessary minor alterations, you must notify us within two weeks, and we will try to make the adjustments needed. Otherwise we recommend you take your pieces to a reputable local tailor. Please contact us if you require advice regarding alterations in your area.
  • Can I order bespoke embroidery?
    Yes you may, we have our ARGA & ARGA embroidery and lace books that you can take a look at over a cup of tea with us, and our designers can help you decide where to place the embroidery of your choice on whichever dress design you have your eye on. Our books are updated every season to match the dress aesthetics, so it can be a lot of fun.
  • Can I have a longer/shorter train than the dress design?
    Ofcourse! Some dresses may have to incur more alterations due to an inclusion of a longer train, however, it’s not a problem at all.
  • General Care:
    Please make sure to read the care label and cleaning instructions before attempting to clean, so you items keep looking their best.
  • Dry Cleaning:
    If you wish to clean your dress after your special day we recommend you take your piece to reputable specialist dry cleaners experienced in the cleaning of delicate pieces and will tend to the garments with our recommended methods.
  • How are the Dresses delivered:
    Each Bridal dress is handcrafted individually and uses delicate fabric, embroideries and lace to our careful requirements. Your embroidered pieces will be delivered with a protective cover garment bag to ensure it remains in impeccable condition. To protect your exclusive embroidery we recommend you hang your garment in its garment bag before the wedding and after the wedding place the cleaned dress folded neatly and lined with acid-free paper in a covered box. Please study our extensive care-guide for further information.
  • Design Alterations:
    Certain other alterations can also be discussed. We understand that it’s your big day and you want it to be just right. Members of our design team through their wealth of experience will be able to work with and guide you. Please feel free to contact us.
  • Customers Service (Repairs, Additions, etc.):
    We pride ourselves on outstanding workmanship and design, and check quality at each step of production and ensuring the final condition of our finished pieces. At Arga & Arga we are committed to ensuring the highest level of service. Even though we cannot accept returns on customised or made to measure garments, we will try our best to ensure you’re are completely satisfied with your order.We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on items we deem unfit for resale. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you believe you have received a product with some kind of fault then please contact us within 14 days of the purchase date, and we will advise how to proceed with the return. If you are returning goods for repair or replacement then please ensure that you let us know first to make sure you receive the best possible care and advice. We cannot be held liable for any undelivered returns. where possible, such accessories, jewellery, gowns can be presented to us for an assessment of repair, please contact us and we will guide you accordingly.
  • Will I get an identical piece:
    When a client orders a jewelled piece, craftsmen and artists will use the chosen piece as a representative to replicate the piece, though with the hand-crafted nature of the embroidery coupled with natural variations in gem-stones means it will have slight differences to that pictured on the our website or shown on the our runway and will be an individual one-off design in its own right. Due to the creative and order processes, we cannot provide a preview of your item before you receive it. However, we always try to maintain the exact number of jewels used, the same fabrics, and design.
